Meet Hattie..

Hattie founded Escape to the Cutting Garden after leaving a decade long career in the high-end luxury events industry (at the Hurlingham Club & 67 Pall Mall to name a few!) behind her to grow and arrange flowers from her cut flower patch in a quiet cosy corner of the rolling East Surrey hills.

She loves to fill her house with fresh cut flowers and describes her design style as wild, romantic and natural.

“I like to make people think of the english countryside and fairy tales when they see my designs. I’ve never been one for neat and tidy arrangements!’

Nestled in the Surrey Hills, Escape to the Cutting Garden started out as a small patch of roses, cornflowers, cosmos and peonies. Over time, the patch grew and with it, so did our flower business.

We love to include seasonal blooms and where possible, we supplement our designs with cuttings from the garden to create our favourite wild, natural and romantic styles
